Palisades Vineyard is a little bit of heaven tucked into a narrow riparian canyon at the foot of the magnificent Palisades cliffs in the Napa Valley just east of the town of Calistoga. Bisected by the occasionally torrential Horns Creek, the cobbly loam soil of Palisades Vineyard’s alluvial fan is perfectly suited for growing the great Rhone and Bordeaux varietals. Hot summers, cool morning westerly breezes, extended sunlight, and abundant winter rainfall combine to bless the vineyard’s head-trained Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Chenin Blanc grapes with exceptional concentration, character, and depth. All of the Petite Sirah vines date from the mid-1960’s and the early 1970s and are dry-farmed and head-trained in the “old-world” style characteristic of Napa Valley’s heritage vineyards. This vineyard is truly a walk into the farming style of Napa Valley’s past.

Proprietors Felicia Woytak and Steve Rasmussen will give you an up-close and personal tour of their working vineyard and share with you their love of the grape. You can hike the acres of trails around the property, or just relax poolside, steps away from your guesthouse.  We will be launching a new wine brand – Palisades Canyon - in 2024 and as a winner of this package, you will be one of the first few to try the wines in a special tasting hosted by Felicia and Steve.
