In 1995, Andy Peay set out across the country with a map and a thermos of coffee, looking for the perfect place to grow wine grapes. He found it on a remote, fog-swept ridge near Sea Ranch, just four miles from the Pacific — land many considered too cold for viticulture. His brother Nick and sister-in-law Vanessa Wong proved otherwise, and today the family farms 53 certified-organic acres producing some of the West Sonoma Coast's most acclaimed cool-climate wines. This lot includes a bottle of their 2022 Pomarium Estate Pinot Noir, scored 98 points, along with a tour and tasting of library wines among the barrels at their winery facility in Cloverdale, 15 minutes north of Healdsburg.
