The need is real.
Every motivated and engaged student should have access to high-quality, professional education in his or her trade. Sadly, many jobs in the hospitality and wine industries pay well below equivalent positions in other industries. Many of those truly passionate about their field cannot afford the education they need to begin or advance their career.
We’re here to help.
In the past couple of years, we have provided more than 100 scholarships totaling more than $182,000 to students in need for their continued education at the San Francisco Wine School.
Generous donations from members of the community enabled us to greatly expand financial assistance to those in need. Ninety-seven percent of scholarship applicants earned less than a "living wage".
